HOW HIGH GLOSS TRAVEL GROUP TRIPS WORK
This is not a rigid minute-by-minute group tour.
Some experiences will be planned for the group, while other portions of the trip intentionally leave room for solo wandering, rest, shopping, museums, cafés, nightlife, or simply following your mood that day.
You will receive curated recommendations, guidance, and structure throughout the experience — without sacrificing the freedom that makes travel actually enjoyable.
I'm a neurodivergent ambivert, and I use both as superpowers in understanding people's energy and needs during travel.
Maybe it sounds a bit esoteric, but impactful travel is in the pace, the light, the details, the story being told, and the energy of the people around you.

I took my first solo trip abroad at sixteen, studying at Oxford for a summer; at a time when I was dealing with pretty severe teenage depression, and that experience changed something for me. Since then, travel has been something closer to medicine or fuel for living. It's morphed into a way to come back to myself.
I was born and raised in San Francisco. I’ve lived in NYC, Europe, and Asia, and I tend to return to places over time rather than move through them quickly. I follow a mix of instinct and intention, revisiting what resonates while still allowing new destinations to enter my life when they’re meant to.
To me, luxury isn’t excess. I’m not interested in empty opulence or planning trips around a photo opportunity. Don't get me wrong, I love documenting my travels, but what I value is something more grounded: intentionality and experiences rooted in culture, people, and the senses.
Cultural immersion, growth, and exploration can co-exist with true luxury. I don't believe that experiencing a culture authentically means sacrificing a high-end experience.
At my core, I’m an unapologetic hedonist. I prioritize pleasure and depth.

I’ve been to around 25 countries, which is fewer than many in the travel space, but that’s intentional; I’m not interested in collecting destinations. Each place tends to come into my life when it has something to offer, and I prefer to experience it fully rather than move on too quickly.

Yes, every booking includes a private bedroom. If you’re travelling with a friend or female partner, you’re welcome to share your room. The $4,200 rate covers the room for one guest; an additional per-person charge applies for the second guest’s included experiences and trip amenities.
We will be staying in a private luxury villa compound in Seminyak, which includes 3 pools, several kitchens & spacious shared areas, and private en suite bedrooms.
This trip is for women who want to start the year somewhere beautiful, social, and indulgent, without signing up for an overly scheduled retreat. Come for the villa life, excellent food, beauty and wellness moments, celebration, and the freedom to make Bali your own.
No. These trips are designed for women who don't want to perform, who value their time and energy. Some activities, however, are pre-booked and included in the trip cost, so opting out is at your financial discretion.
Yes, especially if Bali is somewhere you have wanted to experience but do not feel ready to navigate alone. It may be a cultural adjustment for someone traveling outside the United States for the first time, but you will have a host, a thoughtful group structure, and plenty of support along the way.
Yes, I can arrange that before departure for you. If you’re dreaming of an extra spa treatment, beauty appointment, private driver, special dinner, or another experience that is not on the itinerary, let me know and I’ll help arrange it.
Travel insurance is not required, but it is strongly recommended. If you choose to decline it, you will be asked to sign a waiver. If you later need to cancel or experience a disruption, you remain responsible for any nonrefundable amounts under High Gloss Travel’s cancellation policy and any supplier policies. Travel insurance can help reimburse eligible losses, but it does not change those cancellation terms.
Absolutely. High Gloss Travel is an inclusive, welcoming space for LGBTQ+ women and femme travelers. WLW and femme couples are welcome to travel together, and each room can accommodate up to two people if you would like to share.
