Let me elaborate

Take it from someone who lived in Paris for 3 years: in November its all moody light, robust wine, grand wool coats, and permission to linger.

Kinda 'Aggressively Chic Autumn in Paris' is an intimate, design-minded escape for women who yearn for Paris at its most atmospheric: a boutique luxury hotel, exceptional food, art, shopping, workshops, and enough free time to make the city feel like your own.

HOW HIGH GLOSS TRAVEL GROUP TRIPS WORK

This is not a rigid minute-by-minute group tour.

Some experiences will be planned for the group, while other portions of the trip intentionally leave room for solo wandering, rest, shopping, museums, cafés, nightlife, or simply following your mood that day.

You will receive curated recommendations, guidance, and structure throughout the experience — without sacrificing the freedom that makes travel actually enjoyable.

I'm a neurodivergent ambivert, and I use both as superpowers in understanding people's energy and needs during travel.

Maybe it sounds a bit esoteric, but impactful travel is in the pace, the light, the details, the story being told, and the energy of the people around you.

Each itinerary is intentional, culturally considerate, and based in true luxury above performative opulence.

Moments of immersion, moments of pleasure, moments of rest, all placed with intention so nothing feels rushed, forced, or wasted.

I design with space for rest, space for solo exploration, and space to join together.

I design travel for the love of pleasure itself.

By the way, I'm Ebere

I took my first solo trip abroad at sixteen, studying at Oxford for a summer; at a time when I was dealing with pretty severe teenage depression, and that experience changed something for me. Since then, travel has been something closer to medicine or fuel for living. It's morphed into a way to come back to myself.

I was born and raised in San Francisco. I’ve lived in NYC, Europe, and Asia, and I tend to return to places over time rather than move through them quickly. I follow a mix of instinct and intention, revisiting what resonates while still allowing new destinations to enter my life when they’re meant to.

To me, luxury isn’t excess. I’m not interested in empty opulence or planning trips around a photo opportunity. Don't get me wrong, I love documenting my travels, but what I value is something more grounded: intentionality and experiences rooted in culture, people, and the senses.

Cultural immersion, growth, and exploration can co-exist with true luxury. I don't believe that experiencing a culture authentically means sacrificing a high-end experience.

At my core, I’m an unapologetic hedonist. I prioritize pleasure and depth.

I share the way I travel through these trips:

I want people to reconnect with the earth, with others, with themselves, and with the senses that bring pleasure.

I’ve been to around 25 countries, which is fewer than many in the travel space, but that’s intentional; I’m not interested in collecting destinations. Each place tends to come into my life when it has something to offer, and I prefer to experience it fully rather than move on too quickly.

Are flights included?

No. International flights are not included in the trip price. Book ASAP for best pricing.

Will I have my own room?

Yes. Hard yes.

Unless you choose to travel with a friend/partner and request to share.

Where will we stay?

Victoria Palaec Hotel (6eme); there may be upgrade options depending on the property's discretion. I’ll always do my best to take individual needs into account and make thoughtful adjustments wherever possible.

Who is this trip for?

Simply put: curious, creative, progressive women.

There’s no strict age range, but most of these trips tend to attract women in their late 20s through 40.

The way I plan travel leans toward boutique, design-forward properties, thoughtful experiences, and a balance of culture, pleasure, and downtime, rather than more traditional or formal luxury. So trips tend to resonate with educated, artsy, entrepreneurial types. But there's no real "type."

Do I have to join every activity?

No. These trips are designed for women who don't want to perform, who value their time and energy. Some activities, however, are pre-booked and included in the trip cost, so opting out is at your financial discretion.

Is this suitable for a first international trip?

Absolutely. There's a lot of value in traveling to Paris with someone who's lived there. The itinerary gives you enough time to explore the city, get to know yourself, and form connections during group activities.

Can I add spa treatments or a personal experience?

Yes, I can arrange all of that before departure for you. For example, if you've always dreamt of a private shopping day at Dior or a visit to Moulin Rouge, but it's not on the itinerary, let me know. I'll arrange it all.

Is travel insurance required?

Travel insurance is not required, but it is strongly recommended. If you choose to decline it, you will be asked to sign a waiver. If you later need to cancel or experience a disruption, you remain responsible for any nonrefundable amounts under High Gloss Travel’s cancellation policy and any supplier policies. Travel insurance can help reimburse eligible losses, but it does not change those cancellation terms.

Is this trip LGBTQ+ friendly?

Absolutely. High Gloss Travel is an inclusive, welcoming space for LGBTQ+ women and femme travelers. WLW and femme couples are welcome to travel together, and if you would like to share a room, a modest room-rate adjustment may be available depending on the hotel’s final room configuration.
